Srinagar, April 07: All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani paid glorious tributes to Mujahid Musavir Ahmad Wani slain in Pulwama encounter and added that these youth are sacrificing their precious lives for a sacred cause. It is a cherished and patriotic mission, said Syed Ali Geelani, saying these youths are putting a huge responsibility on our shoulders.

We are duty bound to carry their mission to its logical end, said Geelani. Syed Ali Geelani said that people of state are not war mongers, but through peaceful means urging India and world community to fulfill their pledge & resolve the political destiny of state. Blaming India for its stubbornness & egoistic approach, Syed Ali Geelani said forced occupation is the root cause of all bloodshed in state and it is heart wrenching that precious lives are being lost because of prevailing uncertainty and forced occupation. Syed Ali Geelani while referring to increasing incidents of encounters, said that few black sheep in our folds as informers provide their service to forces for carrying brutal killings. They are accountable for their wrongdoings & devilish deeds, said Syed Ali Geelani & they have to justify their ill will in front of Almighty Allah.

Syed Ali Geelani hailed people for their exemplary valour & bravery, saying that it is praiseworthy that people while risking their lives and are coming to the rescue of these brave hearts. They are resisting forces and facilitate safe passage for our youth & it serves an eye opener for those sick-minded who for petty gains are providing inputs to forces, said Syed Ali Geelani. Pro-freedom Leader in his statement said, those who strive for a scared cause, never die however achieve an eternal life and find place in history. They are sacrificing their lives for our future and their sacrifices won’t go waste or unnoticed, added he.

He urged people to boycott all upcoming elections, saying that any participation in these shame elections provide Indian leadership an opportunity to mislead world community. The few people who vote in election dramas were not only committing an act of treason, their actions were also acting as oxygen for the Indian occupation of Kashmir, he said. It tantamount to betrayal with the sacred blood of martyrs, said Geelani & any sort of participation would prolong our struggle for freedom. Syed Ali Geelani in a telephonic message to mourners said that any flaw or any type of support to puppets is misrepresented in international flora by Delhi. Syed Ali Geelani while referring to huge participation of people in martyr’s funeral said that it should serve an eye opener for India and let them realize that they have virtually lost their battle and now enacting election dramas won’t serve any purpose, said Geelani.

Referring to slain youth, Syed Ali Geelani said that most of those sacrificing their lives are highly educated and committed with right cause. We need to be aware of this and we are duty bound to safe guard their sacrifices and should desist from such activities which prove detrimental for our movement, added Geelani. While quoting a couplet from Dr Iqbal’s poem and hailing the sacrifices rendered by youth, said that their blood is pious as that of Haram-e-Paak and the people who for pity gains barter this blood, are betraying nation and will find nothing hereafter except punishment for their misdeeds.
